I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, life stressors, and recovery from difficult experiences.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in several intensive case management roles supporting vulnerable populations, which deepened my understanding of how trauma and life experiences can affect emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning.
I especially enjoy working with children and youth experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional challenges, and behavioural changes. My calm, patient, and sometimes fun approach helps children feel safe, build trust, and develop healthy coping skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
My approach is flexible and personalised, integrating evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, I provide culturally sensitive care and value making therapy accessible. Sliding-scale options and reduced fees may be available in certain circumstances, based on financial need and availability.
