Abdurrahmann Murad, MA, CCC, is a Canadian Certified Counsellor who provides counselling services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, grief and loss, emotional regulation, adjustment concerns, trauma-related difficulties, and marriage and family counselling.
His clinical approach integrates Western evidence-based counselling methods with Islamic, Seerah-inspired principles of care. He draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, trauma-informed practice, attachment-based interventions, strengths-based counselling, and solution-focused approaches.
Where appropriate and requested, he also incorporates faith-integrated psychotherapy rooted in Islamic ethics, compassion, dignity, trust, empathy, and respect, drawing inspiration from the Prophetic model of healing, guidance, and human connection.
